Since 2020, the Adria Academy has helped students achieve top global scores in their exams and receive admissions to leading universities, like Oxford or MIT.
We maintain a small cohort of under 100 students each year and have a dedicated team of educators who have all ranked top 5% at the top 20 global universities. Our educators include international olympiad champions, global debating champions, and graduate students at schools like MIT.
We provide tutoring and college admissions support.
For academic needs, we deliver assignment support and 1:1 lessons. Each one-hour lesson costs 100 GBP.
For college admissions, we offer an all-in-one package. We will take care of the entire process for all the schools you apply to. All college admissions educators attend Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, or an Ivy League.
Our college admissions package prices vary between 7,000 and 10,000 USD, depending on the number of colleges the student is applying to and where.
Our first lesson is dedicated to understanding the student's needs.
We recognize the importance of this, having worked with students across 13 countries, student-athletes, and students with special learning needs.
The lesson will involve a discussion about the student's academic background, expectations, and time availability. The output is a clear lesson plan and timeline, so our students remain organized and focused on the deliverable.
1) Preparation for precisely what the exam requires. Our team has worked with exam coordinators to devise algorithms for exam success.
2) Practicing exam delivery from Day 1. Our lessons focus on showing the students how they can apply theoretical concepts to the exam right away using past exams.
3) Creating a warm environment. It is very important to us that our students feel cared for and supported, so we build friendships with our students.
Our essay approach was developed by Jakub, one of our tutors and a world essay champion. We focus on three areas:
1) Research & Outlining. We create very detailed and researched outlines, which ensure that the student's essays are structured and analytically powerful.
2) Writing. We give actionable feedback on the content and writing style, making sure our students deliver excellent points that meet the exam rubric.
3) When the essay is done, another one of our tutors checks it for free. We want our students to have top grades, so we triple-check all essays before submission.
We believe that all students have compelling stories to tell in their college essays.

2) Outlining and drafting the essays. We work with the student on finding the correct tone, content, and form of delivery for the essay.
3) When the essay is done, another one of our tutors checks it for free. We want our students to have top results, so we triple-check all essays before submission.
Interviews: we prepare students (e.g. Ivy League interviews) through several mock interviews and tips from our past students who were interviewed.
Recommendations: we identify the best teachers for recommendation and give guidance on what the student should ask the teacher to include.
Filling out forms: paperwork is a headache that we remove by walking the student through the process.
Alexandr is our founder and manages all our tutoring teams. He has taught over 10 undergraduate and graduate courses at the LSE, UCL or the University of Edinburgh. He has also helped students get into UPenn, Duke, Northwestern, Cambridge, Boston University and other top schools in 2023-2024.
At MIT, he received the highly selective Dean's Fellowship (<1% acceptance rate) and ranked top of his class as an undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh.
Beyond academics, Alex spent a year at McKinsey as a consultant and won several international university debate competitions.
Having grown up in South Korea and New Zealand, Aria is experienced in cross-cultural communication. She is fluent in Korean and English and proficient in Japanese and French, which allows her to connect with many of our students.
Aria is an accomplished math and physics olympian. She represented New Zealand at the International Young Physicist Tournament, placed second in the New Zealand Engineering Science Competition, and ranked in the top ten female Mathematics Olympiad competitors in New Zealand.
Aria is also a world-class debater, having represented New Zealand at the World Schools Debating Championship.
Jakub graduated with First Class Honors from Oxford in 2021, where he ranked top 5% of his cohort. While at Oxford, he helped seven students get into Oxbridge and Ivy League universities.
Jakub provides excellent essay support, as he is an IPPF World Essay Champion and the Czech debate champion.
Beyond teaching, Jakub has worked as an art dealer in a leading European gallery.
Mariya is completing her MPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford. Professionally, she has conducted novel research in labour economics and carbon markets.
Mariya manages our Economics team, providing undergraduate teaching materials from Oxford and other leading universities for all our students. As a top 1% scorer in the IB, she also checks all the social science essays our tutors collaborate on with the students.
Mariya is a passionate salsa dancer and speaks five languages.
